After a large UK based bank purchased part of a major European bank, one of the key activities that needed undertaken was the migration of a large data centre in the Netherlands over to the UK.
Agenor were asked to assemble a Technical Assurance and Recovery team to Manage all technical aspects of the migration from driving the infrastructure, network and application build ahead, to a full strategy review and manage the implementation planning and cutover event.

The programme had been running for a number of months and was failing to make traction on delivering a significant number of its technical milestones.
Senior Management of the Bank wanted to build a management team and technical capability to take over the running of the programme and selected Agenor as a trusted and proven partner with high calibre individuals that had delivered for them in the past.
This was a large, complex programme but with the right people all were confident it could be turned around.
This was a highly visible programme and was being overseen by regulators in the UK and Europe. With over 100 applications connecting to 13 Global Locations, the datacentre processed over €1.5 trillion worth of transactions every day for scores of High Net Worth Corporate clients.
In order to manage all technical aspects of the programme, close relationships had to be built with the 4 Global IT delivery partners the bank had engaged. A full review of all technical activities was carried out and decisions made on changes to approach where outcomes were not being met.
In addition, a more robust approach to cutover was needed and Agenor provided the expertise and toolkit to manage such a large complex programme, de-risking the migration where possible through the use of early migrations.
