ICEflo release v1.4.2 - March 2010

We are delighted to announce that ICEflo v1.4.2 was successfully released into the Production environment on Sunday 21st March 2010. The highlights of this release are as follows:

1) Gauge changed to linear style with progress bar
2) User home page customisation added
3) Planned v’s Actual Gantt Chart added
4) New SoE environment type added

Finalist - Innovation of the Year 2010

We are delighted to have been selected as one of the finalists for Innovation of the Year by the panel for the Scottish Borders Business Excellence Awards 2010. The development of the ICEflo solution impressed a panel of judges consisting of category sponsors, private and public sector representatives. The winners will be announced at the award ceremony on 19th March at the Scottish Borders Campus in Galashiels.

Agenor reports increased subscription to ICEflo Free Trial

Agenor have seen a considerable uptake of the ICEflo 30 day Free Trial, in conjunction with a recent upgrade of the solution. We are delighted that people are trying out ICEflo, and welcome any feedback, comments or feature suggestions. To enhance the Trial experience we have just published more extensive training modules which covers the core elements of the application.

Agenor release private Beta of ICEflo to a major player within the Scottish Financial Sector.

Agenor's new software application ICEflo, due to be launched commercially in March of this year, has been adopted by a scottish investment firm for it's first Beta trial. The trial commenced on 12th January and so far the feedback has been both positive and constructive. A final review will take place at the end of February to summarise the benefits of using ICEflo during change procedures.

Oracle specialist joins Agenor

Allan Robertson has recently joined the Agenor team to assist with the infrastructure design and productionisation of our ICEflo solution. Allan specialises in Oracle and UNIX and is highly experienced in the design, development and administration of complex solutions in distributed computing environments.

He has over 15 years Oracle/Unix experience and is an excellent team player, with an ability to liaise at all levels within an organisation. Allan has recently added VMware to his extensive portfolio of skills, adding the VCP accreditation to his many Oracle and Unix certifications.

Agenor expand in-house development team

Catherine Brown, based in Durham, has joined the ICEflo development team to assist with the final stages of the ICEflo application development and testing. Catherine graduated from University with a 1st class honours degree and has worked on a variety of applications and projects gaining detailed knowledge of the Oracle toolset and experience of the full application development lifecycle. Catherine is a versatile and committed professional who is adept at learning new programming languages and software packages rapidly.

Agenor appoint Client Director

Bob Richards has recently been appointed as Agenor's Client Director and will be responsible for steering the strategic planning process for commercialisation of ICEflo.

Bob is a Business Consultant who has worked with Agenor for 18 months as an Advisor to the Board. Bob is a highly motivated individual with broad commercial expertise and a strong track record in new business sales and sales management. He has significant experience in both the corporate (IBM)and SME (start up/early stage) marketplace. His prime focus has been in companies providing Information Technology and consultancy services, who are undergoing significant growth or change. Bob works with companies based throughout the UK as either an advisor to the board or "virtual" sales director.

Education sector client

Agenor has recently won new business in the Education sector. Working with a prestigious University, Agenor consultants will assist our client in a data analysis and cleansing project, leading to a datawarehouse project in 2009.

Office Expansion

Agenor have expanded our footprint within our existing premises to cater for our growing requirements.

With staff numbers increasing rapidly, more office space is required to comfortably and safely accommodate the team.
